It seems everything is going green these days, including kitty litter. One of the most environmentally friendly cat litters on the market today is wheat cat litter. There are advantages to this type of litter you won't get with other materials. Wheat is a natural material that is better for your home and your cat. Clay often leaves a cloud of dust behind and the clumping variety of clay litter may actually be hazardous for kittens. Wheat, on the other hand, does not have the same dust and is safe for all cats.
